Luxury iPad Cases You Can Afford

Piel Frama make the ultimate affordable luxury iPad Cases. Whilst other high end brands will charge you so much you could go out and buy an emergency spare iPad instead, Piel Frama keep their traditional designs and high quality leather within the grasp of mere mortals.

Sure, if you really want to spoil yourself or someone you love, you can ramp things up a bit and buy their Ostrich or Crocodile leather cases for the iPad. But with their "basic" range all well under $150 there are plenty of more economical Piel Frama ipad covers to chose from.

These guys keep things really traditional - with honest to goodness craftsmen making each cover by hand in Spain. The attention to detail is awesome.

Where so many leather iPad cases fail is in the detailing such as the cut outs around the tablet controls. Not so for these guys, those cut outs are beautiful to behold and really make you realise how dodgy some cheaper products can be.

Through this article we will have a look at the different options if you fancy a Piel Frama case for yourself or as a way to spoil a friend or loved one.

I guess this is how many such special cases are bought - as beautiful gifts. But don't forget that although they are lovely and feel great, these are really tough practical covers that will go on looking good for years.

There are several different styles and a variety of colors and types of leather used. All have that all important Piel Frama trademark quality though! If you cannot bear to read the whole article you can click the link at the top right to view the entire range for sale at Amazon.

Okay, if you're still here let's begin...

Piel Frama Leather iPad Cases - Folio Style

This is their standard design.  Costing from around $140 these are the most popular practical folio style leather cases, allowing the iPad to be stood up, but feeling very much like a book style jacket.

Inside is a document pocket.  There are two options, either a magnetic closure or a snap fastener.  Now the magnetic version has been deemed perfectly safe from the modern gadget inside but still since magnets do frighten some geeks having the option of a snap fastening model is a great idea.

The front cover folds all the way back out of the way, allowing the tablet to be stood up tall, or propped up at only a slight angle for a great typing position.

The whole thing is hand-made from high grade leather, with a soft leather embossed lining and an ABS core that gives modern protection for a traditional looking item.

Black and tan are the most popular color choices, but Piel Frama also supply their folio iPad cases in a range of jaw droppingly bright colors too, if you fancy something a little more unusual.

Piel Frama Cinema iPad Case

Newer, and a little more exciting perhaps is the Piel Frama range of "Cinema" iPad cases. These have a front cover that bi-folds to stand the tablet at different angles, far better for movie viewing.

This model only comes with a magnetic fastening - so the particularly magnet phobic should choose their basic folio with the snap option instead.

You get all the usual attention to detail from Piel Frama with their Cinema Case, along with the range of leathers and colors to choose from.  Personally if this were primarily for Movie watching I would stick with the black as it looks gorgeous and won't distract you from the film you are viewing.

Piel Frama Leather iPad Cases - Types of Leather & Colors

The Piel Frama people will personalise things for you, but seeing as they are in Spain that could get costly and rather time consuming.

But since they offer a pretty wide range of high end leathers to choose from and a simply mad range of colors (one to suit each pair of killer heels you have) don't sweat it.  Simply choose from what they have:

The iPad Cinema Case comes in black, tan, red, pink, blue, green or orange cow skin leather, ostrich skin and black, red, brown, pink or orange crocodile skin.

The folio style iPad cases come in the same color choice but you have the added option of a black on black or black exterior with tan lining.

The hard to track down (outside of Europe at least) beautiful Unipur iPad sleeve comes in black, tan, red, white, brown or blue and really should be more widely available.

All the interiors are soft cow hide leather and are embossed adding yet another touch of luxury to your latest iPad accessory.

If you want the ultimate luxury iPad case that is actually practical as well as beautiful do check out the Piel Frama iPad Cases range.

Piel Frama iPad Case Reviews

As you might imagine for a less than average iPad case there are fewer real customer reviews available online, than for more common iPad covers. You can see all those written so far though via the links to amazon as luckily some customers are kind enough to give their response to such purchases.

At the time of writing Piel Frama was receiving glowing reports with customers simply blown away by how well made they were and how good the leather is.

If you do choose a Piel Frama iPad case do write your own review so that future customers have more to go on!
